Safe-area rules

Story UI overlap

Every story keeps the same three reserved bands:

  • Top 250px — Instagram and Threads paint their progress bar and handle here. The .story-frame reserves 180px of inset.
  • Bottom 320px — IG paints the reply bar, the seen-by row, and on FB Stories a comment field. The .story-frame reserves 260px of inset.
  • CTA sticker — left-aligned inside the hero stack on a high-contrast white pill. Native enough that tap-to-link feels right.

For Facebook story uploads, swap the IG bars for FB's thinner indicator — the rest of the composition is identical. Threads stories reuse IG dimensions 1:1.
